Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-03 Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 26.07.2019. Later they were released on bail.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Abhay Kaul R/o # 1250, Sector-42/B, Chandigarh age 28 years from near Small Chowk, Sector-38/West, Chandigarh and recovered 10 gram heroine/smack from his possession on 26.07.2019. A case FIR No. 106, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 149, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Hari Om Singh R/o Village Atawla, Distt. Panipat, Haryana who alleged that driver of BMW car No. CH01AP1110 namely Pushan Grover @ Minku R/o # 1018, Second Floor, Sec-15/B, Chandigarh who hit to complainant’s M/Cycle No. HR06AC3831 near Gopal Sweets, Sec-15, Chandigarh on 25.07.2019. Injured person admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Alleged person arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Ramdarbar, Chandigarh reported that his son age about 16 years has been missing/abducted from near his residence since 26.07.2019. A case FIR No. 208, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A person resident of Ramdarbar, Chandigarh reported that his nephew age about 16 years has been missing/abducted from near his residence since 23.07.2019. A case FIR No. 161, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Protection of Children Act 2015

A case FIR No. 194, U/s 79 Juvenile Justice Act 2015 & 374 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint ofVarun Beniwal, Asstt. Labour, Commissioner, UT, Chandigarh against Sarvjit Singh R/o Shop No. 2041, Vill-Burail, Chandigarh who labored a child at his Shop No. 2041, Village Burail Chandigarh and said child was rescued by team member of Child Line & AHTU on 17.07.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.
