Ram Krishan Verma R/o # 304, Sector- 37/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away 01 mobile phone, cash Rs. 12,000/-, 02 gold bangles, 01 gold ring and 01 gold chain from complainant’s residence on 21.07.2019. A case FIR No. 233, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

 Bharat Bhushan R/o # 2852/2, Sector- 37/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away battery from complainant’s car No. CH-03H-3193 while parked near his residence on 21.07.2019. A case FIR No. 232, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Trespassing

A case FIR No. 97, U/S 452, 509 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady who alleged that a person namely Saman Vohra trespassed in complainant’s house on 22.07.2019. Accused person namely Saman Vohra R/o # 154, Sector-18, Chandigarh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 205, U/S 279, 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-03, against driver of unknown santro car who sped away after hitting to pedestrian person namely Bhupender Yadav R/o VPO- Tohar Kalan, Narnaul, Distt.- Mohindergarh, Haryana at Village Kansal to Naya Gaon road on 21.07.2019. Pedestrian person namely Bhupender Yadav got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh where he was declared brought dead by doctor. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 102, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh against Phool Chand R/o # 340, Milk Colony, Village- Dhanas, Chandigarh, who rent out his residence but did not given information to local Police.  Accused arrested and later bailed out.

MV Theft

Harwinder Singh R/o # 594, Village- Mataur, Distt.- Mohali, Punjab reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa scooter No. PB-65AQ-9096 from parking of GH-16, Chandigarh on 18.07.2019.
