One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 15.07.2019. Later he was released on bail.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Rohin R/o # 674/1, Sector- 38/A, Chandigarh from near slip road, Sector- 38/A, Chandigarh andrecovered 30 injections of drugs from his possession on 15.07.2019. A case FIR No. 212, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Three arrested for possessing illegal liquor

          Chandigarh Police arrested Manoj R/o # 857, DMC, Chandigarh while he was illegally possessing 20 quarters of country made liquor from backside of Community Centre, DMC, Chandigarh on 15.07.2019. A case FIR No. 96, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Rajesh Kumar R/o Jhuggi No. 394, DBC, Sector- 25/D, Chandigarh while he was illegally possessing 24 quarters of country made liquor from near gate No.1, Motor market, Sector- 38 West, Chandigarh on 15.07.2019. A case FIR No. 97, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Vicky R/o # 2938, Sector- 25/D, Chandigarh while he was illegally possessing 32 quarters of country made liquor from near Gaushala, Gwala Colony, Village- Maloya, Chandigarh on 15.07.2019. A case FIR No. 98, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Arjun R/o # 53, Charan Singh Colony, village- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s black color bullet motor cycle No. CH-01BL-5146 while parked in front of Naveen Textile, Sector- 17, Chandigarh on 13.07.2019. A case FIR No. 221, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Manish Sharma R/o # 2210, Ambedkar Colony, Village- Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. CH-01AU-5469 while parked near his residence on 06.07.2019. A case FIR No. 96, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Vinod Kumar R/o # 93 near Govt. School, Village- Hallo Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Maruti car No. PB-27B-5421 and another complainant namely Narinder Kumar R/o # 89, village- Hallo Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. CH-04H-5596 while both vehicles were parked near # 83, village- Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on night intervening 13/14.07.2019. A case FIR No. 201, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Vilson Chaudhary R/o # 1514, village- Burail, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s activa scooter No. CH-01BT-0284 while parked near his residence on 04.07.2019. A case FIR No. 186, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sukhbir Singh R/o # 2880, Sector- 49, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s bullet motor cycle No. CH-01BP-0231 from the parking of # 2880, Sector- 49/D, Chandigarh in between 06.07.2019 to 08.07.2019. Theft

 Raj Kumar R/o # 4 near Bajaj Shopping Complex, Village- Behlana, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away some boxes containing Balancing Ball (Parts of AC) from plot No. 360, Phase- 1, Indst. Area, Chandigarh during night intervening 14/15.07.2019. A case FIR No. 180, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-Indst. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Udayan Rai R/o # 716, Sector- 8/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s bag containing cash Rs. 30,000/- mobile phone, cheque, pen and some documents from his car No. HP-64/A-8406 while parked near Shiv Mandir, Phase-2, Indst. Area, Chandigarh on 15.07.2019. A case FIR No. 200, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Reshu Walia R/o # 3495, Sector- 46, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away 02 complete wheel tyres of left side and wiper blades of complainant’s car No. CH-74T-5923 while parked near his residence during night intervening 13/14.07.2019. Area, Chandigarh on the statement of Monty R/o # 1439/2, Sector- 30/B, Chandigarh against diver of car No. CH-01AW-1439 namely Amritpal R/o # 1439, Sector- 34/C, Chandigarh who hit to motor cycle No. KA-04HR-9004 near Sector- 29/30 light point, Chandigarh on 14.07.2019. Driver of motor cycle namely Rohit R/o Capapura, Banglore and pillion rider namely Shashant got injured & Rohit admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh and Prashant admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
