At Biochemistry , PU Tree plantation was carried out in the department of Biochemistry, Panjab University today from 3 pm onwards with the assistance of the Horticulture department of the University. More than 40 trees of Ashoka and Hamilia were planted in the premises of the BMS Block-II in South campus. “A lot of excitement could be seen among the faculty, staff and students of the department and they have adopted the same with a promise to nurture the trees for a greener campus”as stated by the Chairperson of the department, Prof. ArchanaBhatnagar.
