One arrested for MV Theft

Sh. Navneet R/o # 1670, Main Bazar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away Splendor M/Cycle No. CH-03Y-6588 parked near his house on the night intervening 06/07-07-2019. A case FIR No. 149, U/S 295-A, 380 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Later one person namely Sandeep @ Vicky R/o # 1189, Rajiv Colony, Sector-17, Panchkula (HR) has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Criminal breach of trust

Sourab Pal R/o # 1217 Deep Complex Hallo Majra, Chandigarh reported that two unknown person taken complainant’s mobile phone for making call but after some time they took away his mobile phone near Kali Bari light point, Chandigarh on night intervening 07/08-07-2019. A case FIR No. 195, U/S 406 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 83, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the statement of Harjinder Singh R/o Village Gadri Pet, Teh. Samrala Distt. Ludhiana (PB) (Driver No. CTD33) who alleged that driver of car No. CH-01BA-4705 namely Parnav R/o # 47, Sec-5, Chandigarh (age- 21 yrs) hit to Punjab Roadways Bus No. PB-10FF-5232 at Light Point, Sec-45/46/49/50, Chandigarh on 09.07.2019. Alleged person namely Parnav arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Village Burail, Chandigarh reported that his daughter age about 17 years has been missing from near her residence since 06/07.07.2019. A case FIR No. 178, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later missing girl traced out.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

A person resident of Sector-56, Chandigarh reported that his son age about 16 years has been missing from residence since 07.07.2019. A case FIR No. 199, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Later missing boy traced out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Amar Sagar R/o # 1255/2, Mori Gate, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Yamaha M/Cycle No. CH-01AZ-3576 parked near # 1350, Churri Wala Mohalla, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on the night intervening 03/04-07-2019. A case FIR No. 105, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Amarjit Singh R/o # 1449/1, Sec-40/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Bullet M/Cycle No. CH-03W-9377 parked near his house on the night intervening 29/30-06-2019. A case FIR No. 201, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

O.K. Kaul R/o # 2131, Aashiana Enclave, Sec-48, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away cash Rs 70,000/- from Ishan Medicos, Booth No. 322 Sec-37/D, Chandigarh, cash Rs. 27,000/- from M/S Goodwill medical store and cash Rs. 40,000/- from Chhabra Medical, Booth No. 313, Sec-37/D, Chandigarh on the night intervening 08/09-07-2019. Dr. Himansu Tanwar R/o # 947/1, Sec-40/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away 2 gold necklace, 3 pair ear ring, one rubi necklace, one gold chain, 2 gold ring, one pair gold bali, one gold noise pin, one gold bangle, one silver bracelet, one pair silver child bangle and cash Rs 30,000/- from his residence on 09.07.2019.
