          A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 08.07.2019. Later he was released on bail.

MV Theft

Chattar Pal R/o # 175/A, Housing Board Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Aviator Scooter No. CH-01AP-3680 parked near his residence on 29-06-2019. A case FIR No. 94, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Mahesh R/o # 2772, 2^nd floor, Sector 49, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Splendor Motor Cycle No. CH-01AS-3881 parked near his residence on 05-07-2019. A case FIR No. 82, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Murder

          A case FIR No. 119, U/S 302 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the statement of a lady resident of Sector 28, Chandigarh against Anil R/o # 152, Village Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh who murdered his wife Pooja at his residence and also committed suicide by hanging himself on 08.07.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

          A case FIR No. 213, U/S 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint filed by Adv. B.L. Sharma SCO No. 133, 3^rd floor, Cabin No. 56, Sector 17C, Chandigarh on behalf of Sh. Harmeet Singh Grewal against Mr. Arjun Singh and Mrs. Narinder Kaur R/o 304, merriness home plot No. 36D, Sector 56, Gurgaon (HR). Complainant alleged that a civil suit regarding the property H.No. 49, Sector 5, Chandigarh was pending between legal heirs and accused Arjun Grewal but before the civil suit could be decided Mr. Arjun Singh Grewal with active connivance of Mrs. Narinder Kaur Sandhu posed themselves as 100% owner of the property in Estate Office, Sector 17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
