Four arrested for consuming liquor at public place

        Four different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-Manimajra, PS-I.T Park & PS-49, Chandigarh against four persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 28.06.2019.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Two arrested for Theft

A case FIR No. 142, U/S 379 added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Phool Chand R/o # 1780, Sector- 52, Chandigarh against unknown person who stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. CH-01AS-8863 from near his residence on 27.06.2019. Later on two accused person namely Raj @ lalli R/o # 2072, Sector- 52, Chandigarh and Amit @ DC R/o # 2543, Sector- 52, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

V.B Samaria R/o # 248, Sector- 44/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stolen away 02 tyres of complainant’s car No. CH-01AV-1497 while parked near his residence on night intervening 27/28.06.2019. A case FIR No. 163, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Varun Sharma R/o # 2199/B, Block No. 15, Sector- 63, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH-03T-1468 while parked near his house on night intervening 25/26.06.2019. A case FIR No. 68, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Ajay Sharma R/o # 2306/B, Block No. 31, Sector- 63, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s activa scooter No. CH-01BC-4433 while parked near his residence on 27.06.2019. A case FIR No. 69, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Harjinder Singh R/o # 2900/3, Sector- 49, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. PB-03AX-9343 while parked near his residence on night intervening 25/26.06.2019. A case FIR No. 70, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dowry

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband resident of Chandigarh harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 83, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Ropar, Punjab harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 84, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Mauli Complex, Chandigarh reported that her daughter age about 14 years has been missing from his residence since 27.06.2019. A case FIR No. 111, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Later missing girl traced out. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

Accident

        A case FIR No. 189, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the statement of Anuj Tegta R/o BF Savitri Enclave, Zirakpur, Distt.- Mohali, Punjab who alleged that driver of car No. CH-01AJ-2787 namely Aditya Chabra R/o # 9/B, Amolok Enclave, Zirakpur, Distt.- Mohali, Punjab who hit to complainant’s motor cycle No. CH-03W-8133 near Hallo Majra Light Point, Chandigarh on 28.06.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMCH- 32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
