Three arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Rohit Singhla @ Monu R/o # 984, Village- Burail, Chandigarh from near Govt. School, Sector- 45, Chandigarh and recovered 127 gram Charas from his possession on 06.06.2019. A case FIR No. 130, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Dinesh @ Banti R/o # 447, Gali No. 2, PS- City Malout, Distt.- Mukatsar Sahib, Punjab from near Sector- 52/53 turn, Chandigarh and recovered 30 gram heroin from his possession on 06.06.2019. A case FIR No. 115, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Krishan Kumar R/o # 3227, Sector- 38/D, Chandigarh from near Anaj Bhawan Road, Sector- 39, Chandigarh and recovered 450 gram Ganja from his possession on 06.06.2019. A case FIR No. 156, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

A lady resident of Sector- 63, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Aviator Scooter No. PB-65S-1235 while parked near his residence on night intervening 03/04.06.2019. A case FIR No. 60, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Protection of Children Act 2015

        A case FIR No. 72 U/s 75 & 9 J.J Act, 2015 has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh against one lady namely Neha Thakur R/o # 5115, Sector- 38, West, Chandigarh on the complaint of Tabshum Khan, District Child Protection Officer, Chandigarh regarding child labour from a boy child age about 12 years at # 5115, Sector- 38, West, Chandigarh on 28.05.2019. Child was rescued by WCHL and rehabilitated in Snehalaya, village- Maloya Chandigarh on 28.05.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.
