One arrested with fake number plate on stolen Activa Scooter

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Harjeet Singh @ Kala R/o Village-Kartarpur Teh-Kharar, Distt. Mohali, (PB) at naka near New OPD Gate, PGI, Sector 12, Chandigarh while he was using fake Registration number CH01BA4021 on stolen Activa Scooter which was stolen from Budanpur, Panchkula (HR). In this regard, a case FIR No. 89, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

Theft

Avtar Singh R/o # 510, Sector-16, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away his son’s cycle parked near SCO No. 136, Sec-24, Chandigarh on 03.11.2018. A case FIR No. 88, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Raj Kumar R/o # 149, New Colony, Khuda Lohra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle CH01AE6374 from near his residence on the night intervening 25/26-05-2019. A case FIR No. 67, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Daljit Singh R/o # 3100/2, Sector-44A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Royal Enfield M/Cycle No. CH01 BJ 6098 parked near # 2355/A, Block-32, Sec-63, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 55, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Badheri, Chandigarh alleged that Rakesh R/o # 3007/B, Sector-15, Panchkula (HR) snatched keys of Bolero car No. HR68B5353 from complainant and took away the car near SCO No. 1104-1105, Sec-22, Chandigarh on 28.11.2018. A case FIR No. 144, U/S 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the direction of Hon’ble Court. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Robbery

Devinder Kumar R/o # 89/1, PWT, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that three four unknown persons in Auto snatched mobile phone, purse containing cash Rs. 2500/-, voter card, pan card, Aadhar card & passport by attacking him with sharp weapon near Railway light point towards Kalagram light point, Chandigarh on 28.05.2019. A case FIR No. 110, U/S 394, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Eve-Teasing

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that unknown person (security guard) passed abusive comments on complainant near HDFC Bank ATM, Sector 32, Chandigarh on 27.05.2019. A case FIR No. 119, U/S 354-A IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Sector-42, Chandigarh, reported that his son age about 14 years went to his tuition at Sector 35, Chandigarh on 27.05.2019 and missing since then. A case FIR No. 110, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Later missing boy traced out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 147, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Krishan Kumar R/o # 2416, Block-17, Azad Nagar, Ludhiana (PB) who alleged that driver of Indica car No. CH03X2836 namely Varinder Pal Singh R/o # 127/1, Sec-55, Chandigarh who hit to complainant’s Skoda car No. PB10FU5956 and to another person on Activa Scooter No. CH01BM0901 near light point, Sector 38/40, Chandigarh on 27.05.2019. Driver of Activa Scooter namely Raju R/o # 630, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarhgot injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Alleged car driver arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 68, U/S 279, 337, 338 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Narinder Pal R/o # 61, Village Daddu Majra, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Innova car No. PB-23X-5333 sped away after hitting to complainant (pedestrian) near Samul Atta Chakki, Village Daddu Majra, Chandigarh on 25.05.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh later got admitted in Indus Hospital, Mohali (PB). Investigation of the case is in progress.
