One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-I.T Park, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 20.05.2019.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Outrage Modesty of Women

        A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that Mohit Chadha R/o # 1085, Sunny Enclave Kharar, Distt.- Mohali, Punjab who followed complainant, stopped her way, stolen her mobile, beaten & tried to outrage her modesty near # 90, Sector- 11/A, Chandigarh on 19.05.2019. A case FIR No. 83 U/s 341, 354, 354-D, 323, 382 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Later on accused person (age-yrs) has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
