Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 13.05.2019.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

MV Theft

Kartik Aery R/o Ward No. 1 behind Krishi Bhawan, Old Bus Stand, Unna, HP reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Zen car No. HP-20A-9875 from Buddha Parking near Sukhna Lake on 13.05.2019. A case FIR No. 149, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

          A case FIR No. 127 U/s 420, 409, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC & 12, 13(1D), 13(2) Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 has been registered on the complaint of Sanjeev Verma, Principal Secretary of Welfare, Chandigarh against Surender Kumar, accountant O/o DWO, Sonipat, Haryana embezzled/fraud of Rs. 3,53,10,500/- in payment of Post Matric Scholarships.
