Dowry

A lady resident of Sector-43, Chandigarh alleged that her husband and others resident of Dafarpur, Distt Mohali (PB) harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 36, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Ramdarbar, Chandigarh alleged that her husband resident of Ludhiana (PB) harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 37, U/S 323, 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector 52, Chandigarh alleged that her husband resident of Distt. Sangrur (PB) harassed complainant to bring dowry. A case FIR No. 38 U/S 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Karnail Singh R/o # 3346 Sector-32/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Toyota Innova car No CH-01BC-8888 while parked near his house on the night intervening 22/23-02-2019. A case FIR No. 52 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Village Daddu Majra, Chandigarh alleged that unknown person occupant of M/Cycle sped away after snatching her mobile phone near Tauba, Daddu Majra, Chandigarh on 23.02.2019. A case FIR No. 26, U/S 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
