“Anthropological Genomics in Health and Disease: Hope, Hype and Reality” at PU

            Department of Anthropology organized 6th Anthropology Colloquium on “Anthropological Genomics in Health and Disease: Hope, Hype and Reality” in the Department of Anthropology by Prof. Sarabjit Mastana, School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences, Loughborough University, Loughborough U.K.

            In his address, Dr. Sarabjit Mastana emphasized that the success of personalized medicines depends on the complete understanding of Anthropology of Indian populations in all aspects.  Personalized medicine is the way forward for better treatments and health of individuals and populations. Genetic analyses are now possible to carry out at cost effective level and are helpful in personalized medicine and prescriptions.
