One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          A case FIR No. 33 U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 08.02.2019. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Damage due to Negligence

A case FIR No. 39, U/S 336, 427 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Surinder Kumar, SDO, Building Branch, Sec-17, Chandigarh against Balraj Singh owner of # 25, Sector 03, Chandigarh, Jai Arvind Singh, Ramsis Singh Architect, Mohit Vij Structure, Mohit Sachdeva Eng. and Contractor who carried out excavation of illegal basement at H.No. 25, Sector 03, Chandigarh without any safety measures due to which property (wall) of H.No. 27, Sector 03, Chandigarh got damaged. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 28, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Tejinder Singh R/o VPO Behnipal, Mansa, (PB) who alleged that driver of loading Auto No. CH-01TB-8163 hit to Complainant’s Mahindra Pick No. PB-31P-3541 in front of Plot No. 70, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 08.02.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 29, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Shivani R/o # 1138/4, Gobind Pura, Mani Majra, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Water Tanker Tractor No. CH-04L-3739 had hit to Complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-04L-6833 near Plot No. 121, back side Police Station, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 12.01.2019. Due to which complainant was got injured and got treatment from GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Alleged person arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 43, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Kartar Singh R/o # 324, Sec-15A, Faridabad, Haryana who alleged that driver of unknown vehicle sped away after hitting to Complainant (Pedestrian) at Market, Sec-44/D, Chandigarh on 07.02.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted to GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 41, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Dil Badadur R/o # 2587, Sector-24, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Car No HR01-AD-6635 namely Gurdev Singh R/o # 47 DWS Colony Jalbehda Road, Ambala City (HR) hit to Complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH01-AB-7932 near MCM College Sec-36, Chandigarh on 05.02.2019. Due to which complainant was got injured and got treatment from GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

          A lady resident of Mauli Complex, Chandigarh reported that her daughters age about 16 years and 14 years have been missing/abducted from near their residence since 07.02.2019. A case FIR No. 29, U/S 363, 366 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Madhav Singh R/o # 3232, Sector-35D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa Scooter No PB30M-2905 while parked near Library, Sector-34, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 44, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

          Rajiv Bansal R/o # 1308, Sector-37/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away material worth approx. Rs. 3.5 lakhs i.e. Lapp Copper Flexible Wires 1.5 mm-25 coils (300 mtrs. each), 2.5 mm-15 coils (300mtrs.each) and 4.0 mm-30 coils (300 mtrs.each) from Disha Agencies, Plot No. 372, Phase-2, Industrial Area, Chandigarh on 07.02.2019. A case FIR No. 51, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Deepak Kumar R/o # 240, Ph-4, Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stolen away Cash Rs. 10,000/-, Electrical Motors 15-20 Nos of 2H.P 3H.P, 100 Nos Scissors from his Factory premises i.e. Plot No. 110, Ph-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on night intervening 07/08.02.2019. A case FIR No. 52, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
