          A case FIR No. 30 U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 30.01.2019. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

MV Theft

          Rajesh Kumar R/o # 1021, Sector-45/A, Burail, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-04F-7756 from parking of Rose Garden, Sector-16, Chandigarh on 30.01.2019. A case FIR No. 32, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Shabeer Ahmed R/o # 1372, Burail, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH-01AZ-2297 from parking near Library Sector-34, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 31, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Sandeep Mahajan R/o # 3399, Sector-45/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-01BS-0426 while parked near Himgiri Taxi Stand, Village Kajheri, Sector-52, Chandigarh on 27.01.2019. A case FIR No. 35, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          A case FIR No. 09, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the complaint of Manish Kumar R/o # 1804, Nirvana Society, Sector-49/D, Chandigarh against driver of Bus No PB-65AA-7950 namely Sarabjit Singh R/o Village-Dumna, Distt Ropar (PB) who hit to complainant’s BMW car No CHL-8989 at light point Sector-45/46/49/50, Chandigarh on 30.01.2019. Rioting/Quarrel

A case FIR No. 43, U/S 147, 148, 149, 323, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Vikas R/o # 1199, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh who alleged that Andda, Sonu, Kala, Varun, Vicky Kala, Binny all resident of Ramdarbar, Chandigarh and others attacked on complainant near Ravidas Mandir, Ph-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh on 29.01.2019. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 14, U/S 147, 149, 325 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of DMC, Chandigarh who alleged that Sandeep, Heera Lal, Raman, Satish and two ladies all R/o # 897/1, DMC, Chandigarh beaten and threatened complainant at her residence. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
