One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

       One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-I.T Park, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 25.01.2019. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Two arrested for possessing illegal liquor

          Chandigarh Police arrested Sagar R/o # 953, Phase-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh from near Airforce Boundary wall at market, Phase-2, Ramdar, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 24 quarters of country made liquor from his possession on 25.01.2019. A case FIR No. 35, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Anil R/o # 988, Phase-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh from Booth market, Phase-2, Ramdar, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 20 quarters of English wine from his possession on 25.01.2019. A case FIR No. 36, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 21, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against Ram Dheeraj R/o # 2143, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh who did not gave tenant information to local police and violated the orders U/S 144 Cr.P.C of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 23, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against Chattar Sain R/o # 105, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh who did not gave tenant information to local police and violated the orders U/S 144 Cr.P.C of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 24, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against Bhullan Ram R/o # 2236, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh who did not gave tenant information to local police and violated the orders U/S 144 Cr.P.C of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

Dowry

A lady resident of Sector-38, Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Distt.-Shamli, Uttar Pradesh harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 29, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector-56, Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others all resident of Distt.-Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 30, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector-37, Chandigarh alleged that her husband & Others resident of Sector-39/B, Chandigarh harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 31, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Theft

A lady resident of Ramdarbar, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away cash 01 gold chain, 03 gold rings, 01 mangal sutra, 01 tikka, 01 pair tops, 03 pairs of silver anklets, 01 silver Kamar Bandh, 01 pair of bangles from complainant’s house on 25.01.2019. A case FIR No. 34, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Distt.-Mohali, Punjab reported that his daughter age about 14 years has been missing/abducted from KVS School, Sector-47, Chandigarh on 25.01.2019. A case FIR No. 33, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh.    

Accident

A case FIR No. 14, U/S 279, 337, 427 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the statement of Parveen Mandal R/o # 131/1, Village-Khuda Lahora, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of jeep No. PB-61A-0100 namely Bhupinder Singh R/o # 72, Sector-42/B, Chandigarh hit to Maruti Swift car No. CH-01GA-3870 while parked near Admin block, Punjab University, Chandigarh on 25.01.2019. 02 persons got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Accused person arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 32, U/S 279, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh against driver of Swaraj Majda Canter No. HR-37C-4727 namely Subhash Chand R/o Village- Jalandhar PS-Lahar, Distt.-Kangra, Himachal Pradesh who hit to activa scooter No. CH-01BK-7916 near Poultry Farm Chowk, Chandigarh on 25.01.2019. Driver of activa scooter namely Man Mohan Singh R/o # 1814, Deep Complex, Village- Hallomajra, Chandigarh got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh where doctor declared him brought dead. Accused person arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Prevention of Immoral Trafficking

Chandigarh Police arrested Mohammed Kalam R/o # 636, Village-Burail, Chandigarh and Mohammed Mushifique Alam R/o # 104, Village-Burail, Chandigarh from Hotel Neelam Palace, Village Burail, Chandigarh along with 2 girls on 25.01.2019. A case FIR No. 29, U/S 3, 4, 5, 6 Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act 1956 has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
