Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-3 & 26, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 23.01.2019. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

One arrested for possessing illegal liquor

          Chandigarh Police arrested Harinder Kumar R/o # 324, Kheda Chowk, Village-Hallomajra, Chandigarh from near water tank, Villlage-Hallomajra, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 18 quarters of country made liquor from his possession on 23.01.2019. A case FIR No. 31, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Jaskaran Arora R/o # 5099/3, MHC, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Pulsar Motor Cycle No. CH-0141(T)-512 while parked near his residence on night intervening 22/23-01-2019. A case FIR No. 10, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rajkumar R/o Village-Badali, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Swaraj Mazda No. HR-38H-5746 from parking near Plot No. 275, Phase-2, Industrial Area, Chandigarh on night intervening 21/22-01-2019. A case FIR No. 30, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Satish Kumar R/o # 143, Village-Faidan, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Motor Cycle No. CH-01BT-9760 while parked near Fragrance Garden, Sector-36, Chandigarh on 20-01-2019. A case FIR No. 27, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

          Sham Lal R/o # 3648, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away 45 grams gold and cash Rs. 2,000/- from his house after breaking locks during last week.  A case FIR No. 10, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Varanda near Anil Medicos, Sector-22, Chandigarh, Permanent address Distt.-Bhagalpur, Bihar alleged that unknown person abducted his son age about 13 years and his friend age about 12 years from near # 1497, Sector-22/B, Chandigarh on 23.01.2019. A case FIR No. 29, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh.

A person resident of Sector-39/B Chandigarh alleged that unknown person abducted his son age about 15 years from his residence on 22.01.2019. A case FIR No. 21, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh.

Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 21, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh against Ram Chander Gupta R/o # 2733, Vikas Nagar, Village- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh who rent out his 1^st floor without any intimation to local police and violated the orders U/S 144 Cr.P.C of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Later he bailed out.

A case FIR No. 28, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh against Nihar Ranjan R/o # 906, Deep Complex, Village- Hallomajra, Chandigarh who did not gave tenant information to local police and violated the orders U/S 144 Cr.P.C of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Later he bailed out.

Accident

A case FIR No. 18, U/S 279, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-Industrial Area, Chandigarh on the statement of Chander Bhan Tiwari R/o # 929, Village- Daria, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of truck No. PB-65AS-0845 sped aqway after hitting to cyclist near old wine shop, Village-Daria, Chandigarh on 23.01.2019. Cyclist person namely Mithlesh Kumar got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh, where doctor declared him brought dead. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 19, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Industrial Area, Chandigarh on the statement of Mandeep R/o # 827, Village-Hallomajra, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of auto rikshaw No. PB-65AT-8728 namely Krishna Kumar R/o # 313, Jupiter Nagar, Tarauli, SAS Nagar, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab hit to complainant’s motorcycle No. HR-31P-5933 near Ordinance cable factory, Phase-1, Industrial Area, Chandigarh on 23.01.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Accused person namely Krishna Kumar arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 29, U/S 279, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the statement of a lady resident of Preet colony, Ambala Road, Zirakpur, Punjab who alleged that driver of Haryana Roadways bus No. HR-68A-9828 sped away after hitting toactiva scooter No. PB-11CM-2965 near Tribune Chowk, Chandigarh on 23.01.2019. Driver of activa scooter girl namely Anita R/o and pillion rider (complainant’s) got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh, where doctor declared Anita brought dead and complainant’s got minor injuries. Investigation of the case is in progress.
