Dowry

A lady resident of Sector-21, Chandigarh alleged that her husband resident of Distt.-Kapurthala, Punjab harassed complainant’s to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 21, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh alleged that her husband resident of Distt.-Panchkula, Haryana harassed complainant’s to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 22, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No.05 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-I.T Park, Chandigarh against one person namely Raghbir Singh R/o Jhuggi near Prem farm, Village-Kishangarh, Chandigarh who was arrested, while he was running Rehri/Fari at public place near Airtel Building, I.T Park, Chandigarh and obstructing public way. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Subhash Kumar R/o # 1255, Gali No.5, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Derabassi, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Motor Cycle No. PB-08BN-7772 while parked near Sadar Bazar, Sector-19/C, Chandigarh on 07.01.2019. A case FIR No. 04, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Amit Kumar R/o # C-68, Village-Barmajra, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Motor Cycle No. CH-01AX-9416 from Khukrain Bhawan, Sector-35/D, Chandigarh on 04.01.2019. A case FIR No. 08, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.      

Nikhil Mehta R/o # 40 Top Maa Shimla, Part No.1, Desu Majra, Kharar, Punjab reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa scooter No. PB-65AF-4673 while parked at Lake Parking, Sector-42, Chandigarh on 03.01.2019. A case FIR No. 09, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.   

Snatching

Mandeep Kumar R/o # 144, Phase-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons occupant of Motor cycle snatched away mobile phone from complainant near horse cart stand, Phase-II, Industrial Area, Chandigarh on 07.01.2019. A case FIR No. 07, U/S 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 05, U/S 147, 148, 323, 324, 307, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rahul R/o # 3346, Sector-25, Chandigarh who alleged that Ajay R/o # 3016, Sector-25, Chandigarh, Vijay, Amit, Popli & others attacked on complainant with sharp weapons and also threatened him near # 3346, Sector-25, Chandigarh on 06.01.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Later one alleged person namely Popli (age-23 yrs) was arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 07, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the statement of Ramesh R/o # 15, Village-Kishangarh, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Mahindra Thar Jeep No. CH-01AG-9000 namely Jasvir Singh R/o Village- Dadu Majra, Distt.-Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab hit to complainant’s Motor Cycle No.CH-04B-4043 near T-Point, Golf Ground, Chandigarh on 06.01.2019. Pillion rider namely Sanjay R/o # 154, Village-Saketri, Haryana got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh.  Alleged person arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
