One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later he bailed out. 

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Accident

A case FIR No. 361, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the statement of Ravi Parcha R/o # 2683/1, Sector-49, Chandigarh, who alleged that unknown Car sped away after hitting to complainant’s brother activa No. CH-01BK-8626 at Dhanas Jungle road, Chandigarh on 28.12.2018. Complainant’s brother namely Amit Parcha got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 339, U/S 279, 337, 427 added 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh against Vikram Singh R/o # 72, Phase-6, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab driver of Baleno car No. CH-01BJ-0072 which was over turn near Sector-19/27 Dividing road on 28.12.2018. The passenger in car namely Prathamvir Singh R/o # 3535, Sector-71, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh where doctor declared him brought dead. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 385, U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the statement of Trilok Jain R/o # 1546, Sector-7/C, Chandigarh, who alleged that driver of Maruti-800 car No. CH-01Y-1347 namely Arvind Bal Gupta R/o # 1, NITTR, Sector-26, Chandigarh hit to cyclist at inner market, Sector-7, Chandigarh near sports complex on 28.12.2018. Cylist namely Ravi Kumar R/o Village-Kishangarh, Chandigarh got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh where doctor declared him brought dead.  Alleged person arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Defacement of Property Act

A case FIR No. 384, U/S 3 (1) Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Public Property Act 2007 has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against unknown person who put black paint/color on the sign board of Rajeev Gandhi College Bhawan, Sant Kabir Turn towards Police Line, Sector-26, Chandigarh road on 28.12.2018. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

Jagjit Singh R/o # 127, Singha Devi Colony, Village- Naya Gaon, Punjab reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. PB-10ER-3496 from parking Shastri Market, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 22.12.2018. A case FIR No. 395, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Balkishan Yadav R/o # 50, Village-Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s pulsar motor cycle No. CH-01AW-9885 while parked near his residence on night intervening 21/22.12.2018. A case FIR No. 357, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sanjay Kumar Koli R/o # 1765, DMC, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s active scooter No. CH-01BG-8245 while parked near Sabji Mandi, DMC, Chandigarh on 23.12.2018. A case FIR No. 245, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Gurpreet Singh R/o # 2292, Sector-24, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away battery from complainant’s car and one other from neighbor car while parked near his residence on night intervening 27/28-12-2018. A case FIR No. 362, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

 Vinayak Bangiya R/o # 159, Top Floor, Village- Burail, Chandigarh alleged that Rajat Kausal, Aditya Gautam, Chanchal Gautam, Rahul Negi, Hemant and 5/6 unknown persons attacked on complainant at market, Sector-46, Chandigarh on 28.12.2018. A case FIR No. 440, U/S 323, 341, 147, 149, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Complainant’s got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

Suraj Bhan R/o # 1102, small flats, village-Dhanas, Chandigarh alleged that Sajan Sharma contacted complainant through OLX for buying his mobile phone. He given a cheque of Rs.13,600/- to complainant but the said cheque was returned unclear by the bank. When complainant contacted alleged person on his mobile number but it was found switched off. A case FIR No. 363, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to murder

A case FIR No. 314, U/S 307 IPC has been registered in PS-I.T Park, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that a person namely Toukeer Ahmad R/o Village-Kiratpur, Mohalla Ladpura, Distt.-Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh put fire on his wife (complainant’s daughter) at 1^st floor # 1042, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 28.12.2018. The burnt lady admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Accused person namely Tokeer Ahmad has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
