One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later he bailed out.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

MV Theft

Sajad Ali R/o # 454, Ph-2, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-01BA-7560 while parked at back side of his house on the night intervening 03/04-12-2018. A case FIR No. 370, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rajesh Kumar R/o # 1459, H.B. Colony, Sector-26, Panchkula, (HR) reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Bullet M/Cycle No CH-03(T)-9860 while parked near # 2384, Block No. 38, Sector-63, Chandigarh on the night intervening 29/30-11-2018. A case FIR No. 216, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dharam Parkash Singh R/o # 337/1, Ph-6, Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Scooter No HR-2AP-1626 while parked near SCO No. 224-25, Sector-40/D, Chandigarh on 30-11-2018. A case FIR No. 457, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Amar Singh R/o # 522, Village-Kishangarh, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away his son’s bi-cycle from outside of DAV School, Sector-8, Chandigarh on 22.11.2018. A case FIR No. 235, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector 42, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away cash Rs. 22000/- from her residence on 04-12-2018. A case FIR No. 424, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 423, U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Baljit Singh R/o # 19/1, Village-Kaimbwala, Chandigarh against driver of Swift car No. CH-01BD-9045 namely Baljinder Singh R/o # 3168, Sec-44D, Chandigarh who hit to complainant’s M/Cycle No HR-32F-3947 near dividing road, Sector-23/36, Chandigarh on 04.12.2018. Complainant & pillion rider namely Mamta got injured and admitted in GH-16, where Mamta declared brought dead. Driver of car arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A lady resident of Sector-7, Chandigarh alleged that a person namely Deepak cheated total Rs. 80,800/- from complainant regarding installation of tower at her plot in Rajpura, Mohali (PB). A case FIR No. 369, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
