One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Sawariya R/o # 91, DMC, Chandigarh and recovered 5 injections and 12 gram heroin/smack from his possession near IRB Complex, Sarangpur, Chandigarh on 29.11.2018. A case FIR No. 292, U/S 21, 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for Robbery

Sh. Neeraj Kumar R/o # 37, Tribune Colony, Village-Kaimbwala, Chandigarh reported that two persons namely Bhindi, Suraj and two other persons beaten complainant and his cousin Vinod Raj and robbed away money and bi-cycle from themnear Railway Bridge, Vikas Nagar light point, Chandigarh on 28-11-2018. A case FIR No. 339, U/S 341, 392, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Later one person namely Devchander @ Suraj R/o # 1922, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh age about 21 years has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Distt. Panchkula (HR) reported that two unknown persons occupant of Motor Cycle snatched away gold chain at road from Kaimbwala to Saketri Road, Chandigarh on 29.11.2018. A case FIR No. 229, U/S 379, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sh. Bharat Chaudhary R/o # 5180/2, MHC, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away Maruti car No. HP10A0766 while parked near his house. A case FIR No. 450, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Lovkesh R/o # 7, Green Field, Home Society, Dhakoli, Zirakpur, (PB) reported that unknown person stolen away Scooty No. HP31 B 1141 from Gate No. 1 & 2, DLG Building, IT Park, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 297, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Salim Javed R/o # 1370/C, Small Flats, Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away M/Cycle No. CH01AY9813 while parked near JK Hotel, Village-Kajheri, Sector-52, Chandigarh.
