World Remembrance Day for Road Accident Victims was observed by Chandigarh Traffic Police

Today i.e. 18.11.2018 World Remembrance Day for Road Accident Victims was observed by Chandigarh Traffic Police at Children Traffic Park sector 23, Chandigarh in collaboration with Citizen Awareness Group, Chandigarh and Consumer Voice. More than 150 citizens and NSS students of DAV Collage Sector 10, Chandigarh participated. 2 minutes silence was observed followed by Candle March in Children Traffic Park.

Inspector Sita Devi was the chief guest who aware the students about road safety in her address. DSP Hardit Singh, Surender Verma Chairman Citizen Awareness Group, Chandigarh, Mrs. Monika Arora National President Women Power Society of India, Traffic marshals were also present on this occasion. Road Accident Victims were also invited who share their experience about accident.
