Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-11 & 17, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later they bailed out.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Two arrested for Robbery

Sh. Chetan Kumar owner of DC Jewelers, Shop No. 132, Keshoram Complex, Village Burail, Chandigarh alleged that two unknown person came in his shop and robbed away one gold ring and one gold chain by showing toy/dummy pistol to complainant on 16.11.2018. Later complainant nabbed both alleged persons with the help of public persons near houses, Sector 45C, Chandigarh. Both alleged persons namely Rubani @ Raju and Subhan @ Shahjad R/o # 1400/45, Sector-29/B, Chandigarh have been arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 405, U/S 452, 397, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sh. Sourabh R/o # 1078, Village Kishangarh, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No CH-01BE-9970 from Parking of Patel Market, Sector 15, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 335, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Maloya Colony, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa Scooter No CH-01AV-5323 while parked near her residence. A case FIR No. 230, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sh. Dinesh Goutam R/o # 30/B, Sec-36/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away Gold Kitty Set, Gold Tikka, Gold Necklace, Noise Pin, 5 Gold Ring, 8 Gold Ear Ring and 2 gold bangles from his residence on 16-11-2018. A case FIR No. 405, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel

Sh. Vishal R/o # 1163, DMC, Chandigarh age 19 years alleged that Sweety, Raja, Bread Sahil, Rishab, Vijay and Karan all beaten threatened complainant near Govt. School, Sector-38/D, Chandigarh on 14.11.2018. A case FIR No. 439, U/S 324, 341, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Later three persons Subham @ Billu R/o # 1717, DMC, Rishab R/o # 687, DMC and Yogesh @ R/o # 2604, DMC, Chandigarh arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating/Criminal Breach of Trust

A case FIR No. 355, U/S 406, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Pawan Kumar R/o # 3552, Mauli Jagran Complex, Chandigarh who alleged that Sunny Sharma R/o #100 SEC-28/A Chandigarh and Mohd. Wasim R/o # 1452/17, Sector-29/B, Chandigarh took complainant’s Swift Car No. PB65F1923 for repair work at S.P. Motor Shop No. 28, Sec-28, Chandigarh. But later they asked complainant to sale out his car and complainant agreed them. But alleged person did not given any money and nor return his car. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 403, U/S 406, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Amit Kapoor R/o # 1537, Sector-34/D, Chandigarh who alleged that Vipin Patil and Vikram Patel both R/o H.No. 1083, Second Floor, Sec-37B/B, Chandigarh and they are owner of M/s Vikram Bangles M/s More Bangles SCO No. 21, 1st floor, Sector 23C, Chandigarh took gold jewelry worth Rs. 9 lacs from complainant for replacing it with new jewelry. But alleged person did not delivered the new jewelry and nor return the old one. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 404, U/S 420 IPC & 24 Emigration Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rakesh Sharma R/o Lal Ganj Distt-Raibarely (UP), Chandigarh who alleged that Sukhwinder Singh, Noor Consultancy, Sec-45/C, Chandigarh took total Rs. 1,08,000/- from complainant and another person Deepak Chaudhary regarding sending them abroad (Singapore) and proving job. But alleged person did not send them abroad nor return their money. Investigation of the case is in progress.
