Three arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Three different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-03 & 39, Chandigarh against three persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later they bailed out.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

One arrested for applying fake number on stolen scooter

Chandigarh Police arrested Kulwinder R/o Village Saketri, Panchkula, (HR) age about 39 years, at Roko Toko Naka near Vishvkarma Mandir, Motor Market, Manimajra, Chandigarh while he was using fake Registration number CH03E5107 on Vespa Scooter which was stolen from Panchkula (HR). In this regard, a case FIR No. 437, U/S 379, 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested for attempt to Robbery

Sh. Diwakar R/o # 269, Village-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh alleged that two persons namely Salamat Ali @ Nepali R/o # 2495, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh & Gaurav R/o # 3440, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh attacked on complainant and tried to robbed cash from complainant near Park, Village Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 14-11-2018. Later alleged person caught by complainant with the help of public person. A case FIR No. 333, U/S 392, 506, 511, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Both alleged person have been arrested. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sh. Vikas Sofat R/o # 406/11, Mohalla Arayian, Loomba Street, Khana, Distt. Ludhiana (PB) reported that unknown person stolen away one laptop, car charger, silver coin, headphone & documents from his Ciaz car No. PB-10FT-7885 by breaking left side window pane while it was parked near Guest House Lane, PGI, Chandigarh on 14-11-2018. A case FIR No. 333, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sh. Subhash Bhatt R/o # 2194, Sector-24/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-42(T)-9235 while parked near his residence on 13.11.2018. A case FIR No. 334, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Ajay Verma R/o # 1603, DMC, Sector-38W, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH01 BC 3876 from parking of GH-16, Chandigarh on 13.11.2018. A case FIR No. 353, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Kalim Ali R/o # 1072, Village-Burail, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Alto car No. CH01BQ3510 parked near Govt. School, Village-Burail on 10.11.2018. A case FIR No. 402, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 352, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ravi Kumar R/o Village-Rampur Jangi, Tehsil-Kalka, Distt-Panchkula (HR) who alleged that driver of  car No. CH01BB5445 sped away after hitting to complainant’s M/Cycle No. HR49D2296 near light point Sector 16/17, Chandigarh on 14.11.2018. Pillion rider namely Dinesh Kumar got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 404, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gurdeep Singh R/o Gurteg Bahadur Colony, Tankanshu Kalan, Disst. Patiala, (PB) who alleged that driver of School Van No. PB01A4249 namely Harmesh Singh R/o VPO-Tohra, Teh- Nabha, Distt. Patiala, (PB) hit to complainant’s Car PB65AN5300 near dividing road, Sector 51/52, Chandigarh on 14.11.2018. Accused arrested and later bailed out.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Robbery

Sh. Anil Kumar R/o # 1824/2, Ph-10, Mohali, (PB) alleged that two unknown persons on Activa Scooter attacked on complainant and robbed away mobile phone and cash Rs 300/- near 66 KV Power Station, Sector 52, Chandigarh on night intervening 13/14-11-2018. A case FIR No. 403, U/S 392 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
