Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later they bailed out.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Two arrested for Burglary

A case FIR No. 332, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Soma Gill (tenant) R/o # 460/1, Sector-15/A, Chandigarh who alleged that Charanjit Singh R/o Vill-Malerkotla Distt- Khanna (PB) along with his relatives stolen away 2 gold bangles, one gold set, one kitty set, one diamond ring, cash Rs 50000/-, wrist watch, one laptop and other house hold items from said house. Later two persons namely Heera Lal and Baljit Singh have been arrested and U/S 411 IPC has been added in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sh. Gauravdeep Singh R/o # 643 Sec-16/D reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-42(T)-9235 from Emergency Parking, GH-16, Chandigarh on 12.11.2018. A case FIR No. 349, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Raj Kumar R/o # 2900/A, Sector-20/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-01AY-1608 while parked near his house on night intervening 12/13.11.2018. A case FIR No. 316, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Neeraj Jassal R/o # 3331, Sector-40/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Splendor M/Cycle No CH-01AK-5925 while parked near Market, Sector 41-D, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 434, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 287, U/S 279, 337, 338 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint ofRattan Lal R/o # 3275, H.B Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Ford Figo car No PB-27D-0282 namely Randeep Singh R/o Vill- Syunk Distt- Mohali (PB) had hit to complainant driving Activa Scooter No. CH-03K-4415 near EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh on 21.10.2018. Complainant was admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/abducted

A case FIR No. 423, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Ramdarbar, Chandigarh who reported that her daughter age about 15 years has been missing from her house since 12.11.2018. Investigation of the case is in progress.
