Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli jagran, Chandigarh against two persons who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later he bailed out.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

MV Theft

Sh. Mandeep Singh R/o # 591, Village-Maloya, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Maruti Zen Car No. PB-65-7117 containing cash Rs. 24,900/-, 1 laptop, 1 mobile and some documents while parked at Market, Sector-40, Chandigarh on 03.11.2018. A case FIR No. 424, U/s 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39 Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Sector-44, Chandigarh reported that unknown person occupant of Motor Cycle snatched away purse containing mobile phone from complainant near Rose residential Society, turn Sector-44/D, Chandigarh on 03.11.2018. A case FIR No. 391, U/S 379, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sh. Darshan Singh R/o # 2929/A, Sector-20/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away cash Rs. 50,000/- from complainant by pick pocketing near State Bank of India, Sector-18, Chandigarh on 02.11.2018. A case FIR No. 310, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dowry & Bigamy

A lady resident of Mauli Jagran Complex, Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others all resident of Village-Musafir Khanna, Distt.-Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh harassed complainant to bring more dowry and her husband also married again. A case FIR No. 85, U/S 406, 494 IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
