Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later they bailed out.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Eve-teasing

A girl resident of Zirakpur, Mohali alleged that three unknown persons in Innova car No.HR-01AC-8000 obstructed complainant way at parking Elante Mall and followed her car and eve-tease her. A case FIR No. 314, U/S 341, 354A, 354D, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Industrial Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A lady resident of Distt.-Mohali, Punjab reported that unknown boy stolen away complainant’s purse containing Mobile Phone, Cash Rs.2000/- and documents from Civil Hospital, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 23.10.18. A case FIR No.337, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV theft

Sh. Kulwinder Singh R/o Village-Ayalki, Distt.-Fatehabad, Haryana reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No.HR-22H-8614 while parked near SCO No.60-61, Sector-34, Chandigarh on 22.10.2018. A case FIR No. 383, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34 Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Sachin R/o # 303/B, New Police Colony, Sector-26, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No.CH-01AQ-0512 while parked near Punjab and Sind Bank, Sector-34, Chandigarh on 26.09.2018. A case FIR No. 384, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34 Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against carrying Crackers without permit

A case FIR No. 379, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of SI/Enforcement Sh. Lalit Kumar against Ashok Garg R/o # 2860, Sector-40, Chandigarh who stored crackers without any license at SCF No.47, Sector-42/C, Chandigarh on 23.10.18. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 380, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of SI/Enforcement Sh. Anil Kumar against Sanjeev Kumar R/o # 2860, Sector-40, Chandigarh who stored crackers without any license at shop No.2, Village-Attawa, Chandigarh on 23.10.18. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for applying fake number plate

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Varinder Pal Singh R/o Gali No.2, Jyoti Nagar, Near Khera, Karnal, Haryana from near Beat Box, Sector-11, Chandigarh while he was using fake Registration number HR-05AV-0198 on Brezza Car. In this regard, a case FIR No. 317, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-11 Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
