One arrested for possessing illegal liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Vishal @ Lucky Tandon R/o Baba Gadia, Foola Colony, Jallandhar, (PB) carrying 33 boxes and 120 loose bottles of illegal liquor in Accent car No. PB-48B-0151 near dividing road, Sector 20/33, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 374 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later he bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 204, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of LC Usha Yadav, Traffic Staff who alleged that driver of Honda City Car No. CH01AY9325 hit complainant near Gate No. 2&3, Parking Area, PB & HR High Cout, Chandigarh on 31.07.2018. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sh. Satish Sharma, Manager, Sanatan Dharam Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir, Sector-19A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away cash box containing cash about Rs 5000/- from Mandir on night intervening 14/15-10-2018. A case FIR No. 298, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sharma, General Secretary, Rakeshwar Shri Ram Mandir Sector 35C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away cash about Rs 1500/- from cash box of Mandir on night intervening 14/15-10-2018. A case FIR No. 370, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Sh. C.M. Malhotra R/o # 333, 1^st floor, Sector-44/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away water taps and old steel utensils from store room of his house between 23.09.2018 to 25.09.2018. A case FIR No. 375, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
