One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later he bailed out.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

One arrested for Eve-teasing

A girl resident of Chandigarh alleged that a person namely Himanshu eve-teased and misbehaved with complainant near Govt. School at Raipur Kala road, Chandigarh on 24.09.2018. A case FIR No. 287, U/S 354, 354-A, 354-D, 509 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Alleged person Himanshu R/o # 215, Village Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh age about 22 years has been arrested in this case.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A girl resident of Zirakpur (PB) reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Laptop from Volvo Bus at ISBT Sec-17, Chandigarh on 23-09-2018. A case FIR No. 313, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Vikram Kashyap R/o# 375/2, Sector-41/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away twowheels of his car No CH-01BR-4958 while parked near his residence on night intervening 23/24-09-2018. A case FIR No. 387, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sh. Ramandeep Singh R/o # 356, Village-Daria, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No HR-02U-2192 from parking of Plot No. 47, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 23-09-2018. A case FIR No. 294, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Sh. Satpal Bansal R/o # 98, Sector-15, Panchkula (HR) reported that unknown person stolen away cash Rs 1,10,000/- & 2,25,000/- from his showrooms at SCO No. 151 & 152, Grain Market, Sector-26, Chandigarh after breaking locks of showrooms on night intervening 23/24-09-2018. A case FIR No. 310, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abducted

A lady resident of Kishangarh, Chandigarh reported that his sister age about 11 Years has been missing from her house since 23.09.2018. A case FIR No. 259, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 388, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Jaswinder Singh R/o SCO No. 311, Sector-38D, Chandigarh who alleged that Rishab Oswal, Rinkesh Gupta and other R/o Hug Foods Ltd c/o Nahar Industrial Enterprises Ltd, Ph-4, focal point, Ludhiana (PB) cheated complainant regarding investment of funds in their business and to open master franchises cum outlet for tri-city at Sector 38D, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress
