Two accused of murder arrested by Chandigarh Police

Chandigarh, 19.09.2018:

Chandigarh Police achieved a major success with the arrest of murder’s accused Gulshan S/o Sh. Hari Singh R/o # 1222-B, EWS Colony Dhanas Chandigarh age 26 years and Jiyander @ Ajay S/o Sh. Gopal R/o # 1557-B, EWS Colony Dhanas Chandigarh age 22 years by the team led by Insp./SHO Lakhvir Singh comprising SI Rohitash Kumar IC PP-24, SI Sukhchain Singh under the close supervision of Sh. Krishan Kumar, CPS, SDPO Central Division.

The brief fact of the case is that Vijay Kumar S/o Prahlad Yadav R/o 476/A EWS Colony Dhanas Chandigarh age 26 yrs stated that on the intervening night 12/13.09.18 at about 11.15 PM, he was on walking with his dog outside of his house where  Kuldeep @ Luvkush alongwith with his friend Vijay were already present and having Ice Cream. Mean time he saw that three persons were urinating in public place, then Kuldeep @ Luvkush and his friend raised objection for the same, and told them not to urinnate there as there is residential area. But they didn’t bother and started arguing with them. One of them stabbed a knife to Kuldeep @ Luvkush and Vijay and other namely Gulshan beaten them with helmet and other slapped them. Afterwards they fled away on their motorcycle. The injured Kuldeep was taken to hospital by complainant and others and the other injured was shifted to hospital by the PCR. On the complaint of Vijay case FIR No. 245 Dated 13.09.2018 U/s 307, 34 IPC PS-Sarangpur Chandigarh got registered. During treatment injured Kuldeep was declared dead. On this section 302, 324 IPC is also added in the FIR.

Today on secret information accused namely Gulshan S/o Sh. Hari Singh R/o # 1222-B, EWS Colony Dhanas Chandigarh age 26 years and Jiyander @ Ajay S/o Sh. Gopal R/o # 1557-B, EWS Colony Dhanas Chandigarh age 22 years were got apprehended from Jagadhari bus stand at about 3.30 PM. Later on both accused are arrested in present case.

Profile of accused:-

1. Gulshan S/o Sh. Hari Singh R/o # 1222-B, EWS Colony Dhanas Chandigarh age 26 years, Education-10^th, Profession- Private Job. Marital status- Married having one son.

He was earlier convicted in case FIR No. 249/14 U/s 147, 148, 149,307 IPC PS-36 Chandigarh and presently he is on bail.

2. Jiyander @ Ajay S/o Sh. Gopal R/o # 1557-B, EWS Colony Dhanas Chandigarh age 22 years, Education-4^th, Profession- Labor, Marital status-unmarried.
