2 Punjab IPS  empanelled for the post of Joint Secretary

Punjab IPS  Rai &  Rao empanelled for the post of Joint Secretary/ Equivalent  at Centre

Chandigarh , July 25 , 2018 : Union Government has approved the empanelment of Punjab IPS officers A S Rai and  G Nagehwara Rao to hold post of  Joint Secretary/ Equivalent  at Centre. Mr.  Rai ,presently posted as IG Patiala  Range is 1994 batch IPS.1995 batch Mr. Rao is posted as Director ,Vigilance Bureau , Punjab.

The list includes 1994 batch Punjab cadre IPS A S Rai and 1995 batch officer Gollapalli Nageswara Rao  is posted as Director ,Vigilance. Total 20 IPS offices of 1987, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1994 and 1995 batches have been empanelled to hold  the post of Joint Secretary/ Equivalent  at Centre.
