A “Blood Donation Camp” was organised by the NSS Wing of Post Graduate Government College Sector-46, Chandigarh in association with ‘Meena Tribal Welfare Association’, for PGIMER, the prestigious medical institute of Chandigarh, here today. In this blood donation camp organized under the able guidance of Dr. Abha Sudarshan, Principal of the college, 200 blood donors registered themselves for blood donation, out of which 85 people were found eligible for donating blood by the doctors of PGI. Shri R.K. Meena, President, Meena Tribal Welfare Association, Chandigarh, chief guest of today’s event, said that such blood donation camps will be organized every year. The Program was Organised by the NSS Wing of the college. The NSS Incharge of the college, Shri Praveen Chaubey and programme officers Dr Ritu Sarsoha, Ms.Pooja Gupta and Dr Arvinder Singh were also present. Eminent among those present were Dr. Rajesh Kumar (dean) and Dr. Simmi Arora (Vice Principal).
