Webinar at GH-6 on Importance of Mother Language in Development of India

Girls Hostel No. 6, Mother Teresa Hall, P.U., Chd. today organized a webinar on the eve of International Mother Language day on the topic ‘Importance of Mother Language in Development of India’ under the guidance of Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, P.U., Chd. and supervision of Prof. Jagtar Singh, DSW, Prof. Meena Sharma, DSW(W) and Prof. Ashok Kumar, Associate DSW, P.U., Chd. Prof. Meena Sharma, DSW(W), introduced and welcomed the Chief Guest and the speaker.

Chief Guest on the occasion was Prof. S.K. Tomar, DUI, P.U.,Chd. Dr. Deepak Koirala, Principal, Hemchandracharya Sanskrit Pathshala, Sabarmati, Ahmedabad was the main speaker on this occasion.

Prof. S.K. Tomar, DUI, told that intelligence scale of any person depends upon his/her language. He also told about the importance of mother language for development of India. Development of a nation, village and family depends upon the development of a person. Language and maths is important to make any person educated.

Dr. Deepak Koirala started his speech with a Sanskrit Shalok. He told that the normal procedure from the womb of mother to death bed is called education in our country. He told that mother is more importance than an educator. He further told about importance and scientific value of Gurukuls. He said that the countries which has education in their mother language has developed more than others.

Dr. Manisha Sharma, Warden, GH-6 thanked all the guests and speaker for sharing their valuable thoughts on this occasion.
