MV Theft

Ram Achal R/o # # 1496, Rajeev Colony, Sector 17, Pkl (HR) reported that unknown person stole away his Auto No. HR-68B-2392 from park in front of Mangat kabari, Mauli jagran on 7-09-2021. A case FIR No. 112, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Mouli jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Bunty R/o # 2285 Ph-2 Ramdarbar, chandigarh (Age-27 years) and recovered 7 Kg Ganja from his possession from mandi ground phase-2 Ram darbar, Chandigarh on 16.09.2021. A case FIR No. 131, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 145, U/S 406, 420, 120B IPC Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Derabassi (PB) against Rahul Narula and others O/o Path World Wide, SCO No. 156-157, Sector-34, Chandigarh, who cheated complainant of Rs. 400000/- on the pretext of providing PR VISA for Canada. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 70, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-IT-Park, Chandigarh on the complaint of Manpreet Singh R/o MES tubewell No. 4 Shastri nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of red Scorpio Car No. CH01-BH- 0662 namely Raminder Singh Mehta R/O # 466, MDC, sector 6, Pkl (Age 78 Years) who hit to a cyclist namely Sandeep Singh R/O # 75, Village Daria (age 21 years) near Dog hostel, Shastri nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh. Cyclist got injuries and admitted in PGIMER, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Other case

A case FIR No. 142, U/S 387, 507, 120/B IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the statement of a person resident of Chandigarh that Ramsurat Patel residence of Village Bhaluwahiya Teh Ramgarhwa Distt Mothihari/East, Champaran, Bihar and Shambhu Patel R/O Shi Rampur, Teh- Raxaul Distt- Mothihari/East Champaran, Bihar, they both threatened the complainant on his mobile phone on 15.09.2019.  Investigation of case is in progress.
