Two arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Amarjeet Singh @ Happy R/o # 1335, Deep complex, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh (age 52 years) and recovered 85 injections of Buprenorphine and Pheniramine Maleate drugs and 68 Syringe from his possession near DRDO Office, 3BRD road, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh on 13.07.2021. A case FIR No. 94, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

The Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Ravinder Pal Singh @ Ghoda R/o # 6, Pathak Vihar Colony, Distt. Patiala, Punjab  (Age 38 years) and recovered 51.15 gm heroin from his possession near Electricity Poll No. 11, near T-point Sector-40-CD, Chandigarh on 13.07.2021. A case FIR No. 183, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Arrest in theft case

Brij Bhan Yadav R/o # 195/2, EWS Colony, Maloya, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away overflow valve from a water tank installed at the roof top of the complainant’s residence on 13.07.2021. Later a person namely Anuj R/o # 4734/1, Sector-38/West, Chandigarh (age-22 years) was arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 99, U/S 380 added 411 has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A lady resident of Sector-11/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away some silver coins, gold jewelry, cash Rs. 1,50,000/- (approx.) and some documents  from the cupboard  of his house on 13.07.2021. A case FIR No. 95, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

                Gurmeet Singh R/o # 148, Sector-21/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away  laptop and purse containing DL, Adhar Card, ATM, R/C from complainant’s Honda City Car CH-04C-961, while it was parked near his residence on 11-07-2021. A case FIR No. 39, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

A lady resident of Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away some stitched/unstitched clothes, inverter battery, LED TV, wifi router, computer monitor from her boutique shop i.e. Kalidoscope H.No. 537, Sector 16, Chandigarh after breaking main door locks on the night intervening 12/13-07-2021. A case FIR No. 109, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Robbery

A case FIR No. 93, U/S 392, 34 IPC & 25/54/59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Vijay Kumar R/o Ambedkar Colony, Ph-7, Mohali (PB) who reported that 3 unknown persons on a motorcycle robbed away cash Rs 6000/- from complainant on knife point and also robbed Rs. 5,000/- from his friend namely Sarvesh on gun point near Kali Bari light point, Chandigarh on 13.07.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 95, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Vinod R/o # 615, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh against driver of tempo No. CH-01GA-2403 which hit Activa Scooter No. CH-01CA-2781 driven by complainant’s sister near Gurudwara Sahib, Ph-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh on 13.07.2021. She got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Vinod Kumar R/o # 1001, Adarsh Nagar, Naya Gaon, Distt. Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Hero Hf Deluxe Motorcycle No. CH-01BU-6732 from parking in front of Mukut Hospital, Sector-34, Chandigarh on 29-06-2021. A case FIR No. 109, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Sector 34/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person on Motor cycle snatched away complainant’s wallet containing cash Rs. 5000/-, Debit card, i-phone, car keys, mobile phone in front of her residence on 13.07.2021. A case FIR No. 110, U/S 379A, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Criminal Breach of Trust

          A case FIR No. 184, U/S 403, 406, 381, 420 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the direction of Hon’ble Court and complaint of Sh. Rajiv Goyal, proprietor of M/S. Goyal Pharma, near Gurudwara Sahib, Village Palsora, Chandigarh who alleged that Raj Kumar R/o # 1038, Small Flats, Dhanas, Chandigarh was working as salesman with complainant’s company and collecting payments from customers but not deposited with the company and cheated the complainant to the tune of Rs. 1.5 lakh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
