A lady resident of Sector 37, Chandigarh alleged that her husband & other residents of Dwarka, Delhi harassed the complainant to bring more dowries. A case FIR No. 39, U/S 406, 498A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sintu Kumar R/o # 1984, Village-Burail,, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Auto No. CH-01TB-0513 parked near Dev Samaj College, Sector 45, Chandigarh on the night intervening 18/19-01-2021. A case FIR No. 104, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Naresh Kumar R/o # 6730, Sector-56, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Passion Motor Cycle No. CH-04-9003 parked near his house on the night intervening 20/21-06-2021. A case FIR No. 164, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 48, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the complaint Ravinder Singh R/o # 2747/3, Sector-49/C, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Motor Cycle No. CH-01BW-4053 namely Paramjit Singh R/o # 2318, Sector 52, Chandigarh hit to complainant (cyclist) near Govt. School, Sector 50, Chandigarh on 17-06-2021. Complainant’s wife got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Alleged person arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
