Three arrested with illicit liquor

          A case FIR No. 78, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act & 188 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh against Baldev Kumar @ Vicky R/o # 45/C Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh who was arrested near CRPF gate Behlana, Chandigarh on 02.06.2021 and 66 quarters and 10 bottles of English whiskey have been recovered from his possession. He also violated the curfew orders issued by DM, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Bunty R/o # 532, Ph-1 Ram Darbar, Chandigarh and recovered 444 quarters, 96 halves and 40 bottles of English whiskey from his possession near plot No. 8, PH-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 02.06.2021. A case FIR No. 77, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Later, he bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Avinash R/o # 2738/3, Sector-49C Chandigarh and recovered 8 bottles of country made liquor from his possession near C/D Turn sector-49, Chandigarh on 02.06.2021. A case FIR No. 36, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Later, he bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One persons arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No.68, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh against Abhishek Thakural R/o # 3048, Ph-3, Maloya colony, Chandigarh who was arrested while roaming without having pass/permit near Bus stand, Maloya, Chandigarh and thus violating curfew orders on 02.06.2021. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Om Pal Singh R/o # 1635, DMC, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-Rickshaw No. CH-154(T)-0178 from parking near his house on 28.05.2021. A case FIR No. 69, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Maheshnand Joshi R/o # 696, Shiv mandir Nadha road, Naya gaon, Mohali (PB), reported that two unknown person on Motor cycle snatched away complainant’s Mobile phone near Gate No. 2, Vill. Badheri, Chandigarh on 02.06.2021. A case FIR No.135, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh.
