Nine persons arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

Nine different cases U/S 188 IPC has been registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS-26=03, PS-IT-Park=01, PS-Manimajra=03, PS-Mouli jagran=01 and PS-36=01, Chandigarh against 09 persons, who were arrested from the different parts of the city, while roaming without having pass/permit and thus, they were disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh on 03.05.2021. Later, they were bailed out.

MV Theft

Bhagwati Prasad R/o # 3390/2, Sector-40D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa No. CH01-BG-1311 from infront of parking his house on the night intervening 2/3.05.2021. A case FIR No. 114, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Avtar Singh R/o # 2086, Pipli wala town, Manimajra Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Black Pulsar Motor Cycle No. CH01-BG-1311 from parked near his house on the night intervening 27/28.04.2021. A case FIR No. 73, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Anirudh Windlas R/o 69, Mall Road, Ambala Cantt (HR) reported that unknown person who stole away one gold kada from his SCO No. 828, NAC, MM Chandigarh on 07-04-2021. A case FIR No. 69, U/S 380, 34 IPC has been registered in PS- Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing /Abduction

A Lady resident of Hallo Majra, Chandigarh reported that his son aged about 16 years has been missing from his house since 2.05.2021. A case FIR No. 56, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A person resident of Mouli jagran, Chandigarh reported that his daughter aged about 17 years has been missing from his residence since 02.05.2021. A case FIR No. 44, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Mouli jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling

          Chandigarh Police arrested Joginder lal(age 55 years) R/o #259, Dashmesh colony Zirakpur Distt. Mohali (PB), Manoj kumar (age 55 years) R/o #32 Ram vihar, Baltana, Distt mohali (PB) and Prem chand (age 60 years) R/o #46-A, victoria street-2, Dhakoli Zirakpur Distt.mohali (PB) while they were gambling on public place near Dispensary, Maulijagran, Chandigarh on 03.05.2021. Total cash Rs. 4550/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 45, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in
