Two arrested for possessing illicit liquor

 Chandigarh Police arrested Sunny R/o # Village Rai Khanna PO- Indri Distt- Karnal (HR) (age 38 years) and recovered 30 Box (360 bottles)  Of Royal General Whiskey 750 Ml Each Bottles from his Honda City Car No UP14-AF-7254 near Petrol Pump IT Park, Chandigarh on 27.04.2021. A case FIR No. 34, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-IT-Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 107, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh against unknown driver of Mahindra pick up No. PB30-K- 2561, who ran away after left his vehicle near Coal Depot, Sector-37, Chandigarh on 27.04.2021. On the search of the vehicle 292 Boxes of Country Made Liquor Marka 999 Power star recovered. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Tarsem Singh R/o Village Hedon, Tehsil Samrala, Distt Ludhiana, PB (age 43 years)  and recovered 36 bottles of mota santra country made liquor from his possession in his swift car No. HR20-M- 3430 near Coal Depot Sector 37 D, Chandigarh on 27.04.2021. A case FIR No. 106, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Rahul R/o # 1996, Saini Mohalla Burail, Sector 45, chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s  Pulsar Motor Cycle No. HR03-Z- 5725 from infront of shop No. 1992 Saini Mohalla burail on the night intervening 18/19-04-2021. A case FIR No. 70, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sh. Narinder Singh Sujlana R/o SCO No. 208-209, sector-34, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away some Laptops, Headphones and Mobile Phones from his office during night Intervening 26/27-04-2021. A case FIR No. 69, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS- 34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
