One arrested for Snatching

A lady resident of Ind. Area, Chandigarh reported that unknown person ran away after snatching complainant’s mobile phone near Poultry Farm, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 17.04.2021. The alleged person namely Vicky Ram R/o # 878, Ph-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh (age 21 years) was nabbed by Const. Sunil & Const. Ravinder near the spot. In this regard, a case FIR No. 65, U/S 379A, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 66, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint Rajinder Singh R/o # 379/3, New Maloya Colony, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Wagonr Car No HR62A-2596 namely Kapil R/o Gali No. 8, Shanti Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh hit to complainant’s E-Rikshaw near Community Centre, Sector-29C, Chandigarh on 16.04.2021. Complainant and his brother namely Rajan Singh (occupant of E-Rickshaw) both got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Himanshu Chawla R/o # 363, Block-H, Shivalik Avenue, Sunny Enclave, Sector-125, Greater Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. PB65K-0612 from parking area of Sector 34A, Chandigarh on 09-04-2021. A case FIR No. 64, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Sumit Kumar R/o # 1621, Aman Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Maruti Car No. CH03M-1404 parked near his house on 08-04-2021. A case FIR No. 39, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Deepak Verma R/o # 168/4, Village Kajheri, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Truck No. PB65-AH-9295 parked near 66 KV Station, Kajheri, Chandigarh on 15-04-2021. A case FIR No. 31, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

          Sandeep R/o # 306, Village Kaimbwala, Chandigarh reported that one unknown lady & one male person occupant of white color car took complainant’s mobile phone for making phone call near light point, Sector-44/45, Chandigarh on 16-04-2021 and later absconded with his mobile phone. A case FIR No. 66, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
