‘Purnoor’ Korel, CHANDIGARH – 24, 03. 2021

Theft

A lady resident Sector-25, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away purse containing cash Rs. 15000/-, Adhar card and voter card from complainant’s residence on 22.03.2021. A case FIR No. 38, U/S 457, 380 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Later on accused namely Shubham @ Totla R/o # 2443, Sector 25/D, Chandigarh and Deepak @ Budha R/o # 5628, Sector-25, Chandigarh were arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Jagdish Kumar r/o # 529, Milk colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away 2 bicycles from complainant’s residence on intervening night 18/19.03.2021. A case FIR No. 32, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Later on 2 juveniles were apprehended and send to juvenile Home, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

Kishor Kumar R/o # 87/5, room No. 4, Village Khuda Jassu, Chandigarh reported that driver of CTU bus No. not confirm, which hit to a pedestrian persn namely Rohit aged 30 years, near PGi chowk, Chandigarh on 23.03.2021. A case FIR No. 39, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Victim namely Rohit was lifted to GH-16, Chandigarh, where he was died during treatment. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sonu r/o # 523/1, Village Dariya, Chandigarh reported that unknown driver of truck No. PB65F-2322, which hit to 2 pedestrian person near VRL transport, Dariya, Chandigarh on 23.03.2021. A case FIR No. 50, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Both pedestrian got injured and one of them admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh, and other unknown person got expired at GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to commit suicide

   A case FIR No. 53, U/S 309 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Vol Ravinder Singh of PS-36, Chandigarh against  Sandeep Kumar Khurmi R/o Village Sai majra, Mohali (PB) who was attempted suicide in Police Station, Sector 36 on 23.03.2021. Accused person got injured and admitted GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
