One arrested for possessing illicit liquor

          Chandigarh Police arrested Lucky @ Rohit R/o # 1008 Vill- Burail, Chandigarh aged 20 years and recovered 14 bottles of Discount premium whiskey from his possession near Sampark center Sector-32, Chandigarh on 09.03.2021. A case FIR No. 40, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Arrest in Theft

Rajpal Malik R/o # 624/B, Sector-46A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant cycle from his house on 06-03.2021. A case FIR No. 39, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later on accused namely Mohamad Jafar R/o # 1513, Village Burail, Chandigarh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Parmod Kumar R/o # 573, Sector-9, Panchkula (HR) reported that a lady, Vinod kumar and a girl all resident of Distt- Fatehabad (Hr). All they stole away 11 gold nose pin from shop No. 2212/13, Gobindpura, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 09-03-2021.  Later Accused lady and girl arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 40, U/S 380, 411, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 23, U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sonu R/o Village Adamwal Distt- Hoshiarpur (PB) who alleged that  unknown driver of Car No. PB-13Z-4545 sped away after hit to Tempo Jeeto plus No. PB-07BX-1359 near Press light point Chandigarh on 09-03-2021. Three Persons Raju, Kishan and Kishanpal sustained Injuries and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh, where Kishanpal declared brought dead by duty doctor. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Criminal Breach of Trust

A case FIR No. 32, U/S 407 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Subodh Kumar Singh, Transport Department, Sarr Freight Corporation 1E/12, Sewak house Jhandewalan, New Delhi against Atul Labma r/o Upper India Carrier, SCO No. 136, Sector-24-D, Chandigarh. In which complainant mentioned that they have booked Coach No- 11757 and DPC no- 11147 from Udhampur Railway Station to Budgam Railway Yard including loading and unloading at Budgam Railway Yard for Rs. 6,00,000 per Coach, but the officials of Upper India are illegally refusing to release the coaches at Budgam Railway Station.  Investigation of the case is in progress.
