Action against Gambling/satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Sukhram Singh R/o # 505, Phase-2, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh, Jagdish R/o # 166, Ph-2, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh, Bhure Singh R/o # 167, Ph-2, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh while they were gambling at public place near Shiv Mandir Park, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 01.03.2021. Total cash Rs. 5310/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 41, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Vijay R/o # 529, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh while he was playing satta near Shiv Mandir, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 01.03.2021. Total cash Rs. 1350/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 18, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Arvind R/o # 3132, DBC, Sector-25, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH01-AT-9717 parked near his house on 19-02-2021. A case FIR No. 27, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          A lady resident of Sector-35D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. UP32-AQ-0010 parked near SCO No. 104-105, Sector-34C, Chandigarh on 24-02-2021. A case FIR No. 38, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Pratyakash Kapil R/o # 2305/E, Block-31, Sector-63, Mohali, (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Pulsar M/Cycle No. UP-11-BA-9666 parked near his residence on 23/24-02-2021. A case FIR No. 10, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

A lady resident of Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away laptop and cash about Rs. 7000/- from complainant’s shop i.e. De-ha-Tierra Saloon, SCO No. 407, Sector 35C, Chandigarh on the night intervening 28-02-2021/01-03-2021. A case FIR No. 32, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
