Illicit liquor recovered

          A case FIR No. 30, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-36, against two unknown occupants of Car No. PB-18J-0046 who ran away after leaving the said car near park adjoining to the Sector-35-A/B Turn, Chandigarh, which was loaded With 11 Boxes of whiskey containing a total 144 bottles on 21-02-2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 16, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS- IT Park, Chandigarh on the statement of Sahil R/o # 193, Village Kansal, Distt. SAS Nagar, Mohali (PB) who alleged that Ankush Kumar R/o Hemkund Motors, Motor Market, Mani Majra, Chandigarh who was driving truck No. PB-65X-1311 which hit a pedestrian lady near Shashtri Nagar, Light Point, Chandigarh on 21-02-2021. Lady namely Shanti R/o Green Valley Nursery, Shastri Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh aged 60 years got injured and declared dead at GH-16, Chandigarh. Alleged person arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Fetus Found

A case FIR No. 18, U/S 318 IPC has been registered in PS-Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh against unknown person who left away a fetus of human baby at slip road near Railway Bridge, Mauli Jagran, Part-2, Chandigarh on 21.02.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Rupinder Singh, Pathi at Gurudwara Sanjha Sahib, Sector-63, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away cash box from Gurudwara Sanjha Sahib Sector-63, Chandigarh after breaking the main door locks on night intervening 20/21.02.2021. A case FIR No. 09, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
