Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Chandigarh Police arrested Neeraj Kumar R/o # 1848, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh while consuming liquor and creating nuisance at a public place near govt. School, Village-Dhanas, Chandigarh on 19-02-2021. A case FIR No. 18, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Accused later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Chandigarh Police arrested Deepak Kumar R/o # 1364, EWS Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh while consuming liquor and creating nuisance at a public place near Wine Shop, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh on 19-02-2021. A case FIR No. 19, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Accused later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

         Sahil Aggarwal R/o # 2858, Sunny Enclave, Sector-125, Kharar (PB)  reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s car No. CH-01A-3787 parked near Kiran Cinema, Sector 22, Chandigarh on 10.02.2021. A case FIR No. 27, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Surinder Singh R/o # 1496, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-01BN-4426 parked at back side Community Center, Sector 18, Chandigarh on 17.02.2021. A case FIR No. 09, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Akashdeep R/o VPO Mullanpur Garibdass, Distt-Mohali (PB) reported that unknown Sikh person taken lift on his motor cycle from PS East Chowk, Chandigarh to Grain Market Chowk, Sector 26, Chandigarh and meanwhile he stolen cash Rs 1.5 Lakh from his bag on 15.02.2021. A case FIR No. 39, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady R/o Sector-33, Chandigarh reported that unknown persons on M/Cycle sped away after snatching complainant’s purse containing one mobile phone, one gold ring, one gold nose pin, some documents and cash Rs. 4000/- in front of H.No. 1109, Sector-33, Chandigarh on 19.02.2021. A case FIR No. 35, U/S 379A, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft /Mischief by Causing Damage

A case FIR No. 17, U/S 379, 427, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint Ravinder Singh R/o # 978/A, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh who alleged that Akash @ Spaty R/o Kachi Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh and other persons carrying iron rods, sharp weapon damaged CCTV camera and other items at outside of his house and also broken window glasses of his Bolero car parked outside his house on night intervening 18/19.02.2021. They also stole away the complainant’s purse containing cash Rs. 1200/- and documents from his Bolero car. Investigation of the case is in progress.
