          Chandigarh Police arrested Yash Goyal R/o # 1230/E, Ward No. 05, Ranjit Nagar, Kharar, Mohali, (PB) and Sachin Garg R/o # L-119, Shashtri Nagar, Delhi from the parking of SCO No. 1032, Sector-22B, Chandigarh while consuming liquor at public place and creating nuisance at public place on 14-02-2021. A case FIR No. 26, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. They were later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for MV Theft

Santosh Kumar Pathak R/o # 2632, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No CH01-AF-2846 while parked in front of his house on night intervening 13/14-02-2020. A case FIR No. 16, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Later a person namely Amit R/o Village Khothkhurd, Tehsil Narnaud, Distt. Hissar (HR) age 20 years has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling/satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Sandeep Kumar (Age-34 Years) R/o # 639, Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh while he was playing satta at public place near Community Center, EWS Colony, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 14.02.2021. Total cash Rs. 4830/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 15, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 38, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Naresh R/o Village Kumbra, near Forest Complex, Distt. Mohali (PB) against driver of car No. HR-02AR-0095 namely Narender Tyagi R/o Village Mumdi, Distt. Yamunanagar (HR) who hit to Auto No. CH-11-2008(T) driven by complainant’s brother-in-law namely Brijesh near Market turn, Sector-28/A, Chandigarh on 13.02.2021. Brijesh got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 30, U/S 324 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sagar R/o Booth No. 413, Sector-44D, Chandigarh who alleged that Angad Kumar Gupta R/o SCO No. 249, near Sagar Hotel, Sector-44, Chandigarh assaulted complainant with sharp weapon near Market, Sector 44D, Chandigarh on 12.02.2021. Complainant got injured and was admitted in GMCH-32 Chandigarh. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 26, U/S 324 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rahul Pundir R/o KK-2 Hotel, Village Kajheri, Sector-52, Chandigarh who alleged that a person namely DK assaulted complainant with sharp weapon near Khera Mandir, Village Kajheri, Sector-52, Chandigarh on 13.02.2021. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMSH-16 and later referred to PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
