Two arrested under NDPS Act

          Chandigarh Police arrested Kuldeep Singh R/O # 426A Govind Nagar Nayagaon, Mohali, PB(Age 36 Years),  near Cremation Ground Sec-25, Chandigarh and recovered 750 grams Charas from his possession alongwith motor cycle No PB65-K- 4238 on 08.02.2021. A case FIR No. 16, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sanjay Ganji (Age 22 Years) R/o # 2675 Mauli Jagran Complex, Chandigarh and recovered Total 50 injection (25 Injections Rx-Promethazine Hydrochloride I.P Phenergan 2 M.L each and 25 Injections Pentazocine Lactate I.P Panlale 1 M.L each) from his possession from main road near Nirankari Bhawan Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 08-02-2021 A case FIR No. 12 U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MJ, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for possessing illicit liquor

          Chandigarh Police arrested Honey R/O # 42, Govind Nagar Fatehgarh Dist- Hoshiarpur (PB) age- 28 years and recovered 09 Boxes Of Super Jubilee Special Whiskey 750 ML each (total- 108 Bottles) in His Swift Dezire Car No. PB07-AE- 7672 near Cactus Park PH-1 Ram Darbar, Chandigarh on 08.02.2021. A case FIR No. 22, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling/satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Ajay (age 25 years), Parvesh@Ganju (age 27 years), Pardeep @ Lallu (age 34 years) and vicky (age 25 years) all resident of Dainik bhaskar colony, Sector-25, Chandigarh while they were playing satta at public place near Football Ground, Sector-25, Chandigarh on 08.02.2021. Total cash Rs. 2420/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 15, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against obstruction in public way

A case FIR No. 24, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Aman R/o # 679, sector 38A, Chandigarh while he was obstructing public way by installing rehri/fari near SCO No. 80-81, Sector-17, Chandigarh on 08-02-2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

A lady resident of sector 47, chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s bullet M/Cycle No DL8-SBT- 8761 parked in front of her house. A case FIR No. 21, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dinesh Kumar Pal R/o #35, charan singh colony, mouli jagran, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa  No CH01-BM- 6905 from Shanti Kunj Parking, sector 16, chandigarh on 26-01-2021. A case FIR No. 23, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Mohali, PB. reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Grey Eon car No CH01-BU- 0902 which was parked in the parking of civil Secretariat sector 1, Chandigarh on 04.02.2021. A case FIR No. 11, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-3, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sumit Dhiman R/o # 214, Sector-45A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who Broken the Backside Window of Complainant’s house and stole Taps of kitchen and bathroom, gas stove burner and other valuables from his house on 07-02.2021. A case FIR No. 26, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to murder

A case FIR No. 25, U/S 307, 34 IPC has been registered in PS- I/Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rohit Rana R/o # 1234 2nd Floor Sec-19, Panchkula who alleged that two unknown person on two M/cycle bearing number CH01AX6454 & CH01BX8128, assaulted to the complainant with a sharp edge weapon near Elante Mall, PH-1, I/A, on 07-02-2021. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Later on, accused namely Sumit @ Rahul R/O # 772 Saini Vihar Baltana Mohali PB Age 27 Years and Gagandeep Singh @ Gagan R/O # 890 Phase-2 Ram Darbar Chandigarh Age- 25 years were arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.
