Cheating

A case FIR No. 02, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh on the complaint of Inderjit Singh R/o # T-6F, Railway Colony, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh who alleged that Parminder Singh R/o # 1337, Sector-20/B, Chandigarh cheated Rs. 8 lakh from complainant’s relative for providing govt. job. But he neither provided job and nor return their money. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Sector 27D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person occupant of motor cycle snatched away complainant’s purse containing cash Rs. 5,000/-, Aadhar Card, Voter Card and some medicines near # 3380,  Sector 27D, Chandigarh on 04.01.2021. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 379A IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector 44, Chandigarh reported that unknown person occupant of motor cycle snatched away complainant’s purse containing cash Rs. 2,000/-, Voter Card, 3 debit cards, 1 credit card near # 3239,  Sector 44/D, Chandigarh on 04.01.2021. A case FIR No. 03, U/S 379A, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

          Sarabjit Gupta R/o # 386, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh reported that unknown person committed theft at ground floor of his house and stole away different brands of cigarettes worth Rs. 90,000/-, one gold ring, one mangal sutra, cash Rs. 1.5 lakh after breaking locks on night intervening 01.01.2021. A case FIR No. 03, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

          A lady resident of Sector 44, Chandigarh reported that unknown person committed theft at his residence and stole away gold jewelry on night intervening 03/04.01.2021. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rioting/Assault

A case FIR No. 01, U/S 341, 147, 149, 323, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Abhinav Mahajan R/o # 1529, Sector-18/D, Chandigarh who alleged that Ashish and other persons attacked on complainant at park near H.No. 3087, Sector-44D, Chandigarh on 03.01.2021. Later alleged person namely Rakesh Gawri @ Ashish R/o # 3130, Ground Floor, Sector-44, Chandigarh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
