A case FIR No. 215, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh against Nikhil, Shubham, Karan, Laddi, Minhas Sidhu all partners of Play Boy Club, plot No. 143A, City Emporium, Phase-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh for opening the play boy club beyond the permissible time on 27.11.2020 and violating the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 178, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against Parbhat Saini R/o # 84, Harmilap nagar, Phase-2, Zirakpur who served hooka to customers at SCO No. 33, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 30.11.2020 and violated the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for applying fake registration number

Chandigarh Police arrested Baljinder Singh @ Happy R/o Village Bhago Majra, Sohana, Distt. Mohali, PB (age 22 years) at naka near Sector 40C/D turn, Chandigarh and recovered stolen Activa Scooter with fake Registration No. CH01BJ-9465 on 01.11.2020. In this regard, a case FIR No. 376, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 194, U/S 419, 420, 120-B has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Sector 23, Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated Rs. 9,93,099/- from complainant’s mother pension account through sending link and OTP on mobile phone on 27.11.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 139, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the statement of Paan Singh R/o # 1995, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh who reported that driver of Swift car No. PB08DB-4601 namely Kuldeep Singh R/o # 340, Sector-15, Chandigarhh hit to Activa Scooter No. CH04J1906 near 66 KV light point, P.U., Sector-14, Chandigarh on 01.12.2020. Activa Scooter driver Kamal and pillion rider Geeta both R/o # 611, Block-C, Adarsh Nagar, Naya Gaon (PB) got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh, where Geeta was declared brought dead by duty doctors. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Vijay Gupta R/o Plot No. 203, Vee kay Distributer Iron market, Sector 29D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stolen away 47 units of LG LEDs, 2 units of vacuum cleaner from complainant’s office after breaking the backside wall on the night intervening 30-11/01-12.2020. A case FIR No. 213, U/S 457, 380 IPC has been registered in PS-I/A, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV theft

Bharat Kumar R/o # 1178, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-Rickshaw No. CH01TE-3160 parked at backside gate of GMSH-16, Chandigarh on 19.11.2020. A case FIR No. 195, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
