Attempt to murder and Arms act

A case FIR No. 90, U/S 307, 34 IPC & 25-27-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Akash R/o Preet Colony, Zirakpur, Mohali (PB) who alleged that Movis Bains and 3 others fired gunshot on complainant and his friends with intention to kill them at outside of ESKO Bar, SCO No. 145-146, Sector-9C, Chandigarh on 11.10.2020. Soarav R/o Zirakpur, Distt Mohali (PB) got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 197, U/S 307, 120B IPC & 25-27-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complainant of Tirath Singh R/o # 381 Village Burail, Chandigarh who alleged that Monty Shah and others fired gunshot on complainant with intention to kill him near Balmiki Mandir, Village Burail, Sector-45, Chandigarh on the night intervening 11/12.10.2020. Victim got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Theft

Vinod Kumar R/o # 1047, Village Kishangarh, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away his E-Rickshaw No. HR2020-T/R-5201M parked near Govt. Primary School, Kishangarh, Chandigarh on the night intervening 27/28-09-2020. A case FIR No. 192, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Imran Khan R/o # 249, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Swift Dzire car No. CH01-BL-7174 parked near Jama Masjid, Burail, Chandigarh on the night intervening 10/11-10-2020. A case FIR No. 198, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against gambling/satta 

Chandigarh Police arrested Raj Chaudhary R/o # 460, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh (age 25 years) while he was playing satta near Shiv Mandir, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 12.10.2020 and cash Rs. 1450/- was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 193, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault/Quarrel

          A case FIR No. 197, U/S 323, 379, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ramesh Kalyan R/o # 3243, Sector-46C, Chandigarh who alleged that unknown persons assaulted complainant and also stolen his mobile phone near Market, Sector 31, Chandigarh on 12.10.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 196, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Deinder Singh R/o # 2726, Sector-69, Mohali (PB) who alleged that lady driver of Swift car No CH04-F-6182 hit to complainant’s car No. PB10-CN-0481 from rear side at light point, Sector 33/34, Chandigarh resultantly the complainant’s car struck with another car No. HP01M-5453 on 10.10.2020. Alleged person arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Causing death by negligence

          A case FIR No. 147, U/S 304A IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the statement of Daroga Yadav R/o Water Works, Sec-39 (west) Chandigarh who alleged that due to negligence of site manager namely Piyush R/o # 3175, Sector-40D, Chandigarh his brother namely Manish Yadav buried under heap of soil while doing digging work of pipeline near # 2503 near Park, DMC, Chandigarh on 12.10.2020. Victim declared dead at PGIMER, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
